OK Im officially done being
CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC!!!
Im now decidedly celebrating in true Rainy fashion!
The mad shopping has reached epic proportions! I have added a furry lime green pillow,
that lights up in 6 (bright but slighly eerie) colors,
to keep her company at night ( or scare her silly).
Every Disney movie known to man, lines her shelves.
These are also home to Barbie's from all walks of life.
There is Russian Barbie ( a cherished gift) Princess Barbie (havent been able to locate her counterpart Pauper Barbie) and of course Photographer Barbie ( INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, she comes in a wheel chair!)

WHAT"S UP WITH THAT??????
like my job is so easy, I could make a un-co-operative baby
chuckle from my perch in a wheel chair?
It could be that since women are still very much the minority
in the photography field, they were trying
to be politically correct & save money
by making her a dual Handicapped Barbie
to kill two birds with one stone???
Can you see me trying to explain all THAT in broken Russian?

no, that might suggest that cooking is a good thing ;)
When I was a kid, I had ONE Barbie,
sure she scattered tiny plastic shoes all over the house,
but it was so simple. Hmmn there was one issue
when I made her break up with KEN because
I had a thing for G.I. JOE.
Now even that isn't easy. Have you met the new.

sigh....maybe she will prefer to read instead!!

I have taken off the hot pink tee shirt sheets from her little bed,
& replaced them with new cheery yellow flannel sheets...
which reminds me, did I mention I shall be flying
on an old - foreign plane-( in much need of FAA regulations)
heading into SIBERIA in the middle of winter??????
To Todd, this is reason to entertain the fact
that he could wear a fur lined hat like ARNOLD,
in that submarine movie..
to ME it screams..
